Acıbadem Labmed, accredited by TURKAK in accordance with TSE EN ISO 15189 standard and established in 2500 sqm closed area, is planned to ensure that the operations of the laboratory services are operated from a central point with high standards, sustainable and automated processes.

Apart from main clinic laboratory areas such as Microbiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Hematology, an R&D laboratory with an area of 300 sqm has been planned. Besides, due to offline & online pre/post analytic automation systems so established, it has been made possible to take results by including samples in the analytic process in a problem-free and quick fashion. This system made it possible to eliminate the manual workflows, thereby, generating patient results with absolute quality and making such results free from human error through fully automatized processes.

The mechanical, electrical and gas infrastructures of the automation systems that have been designed as points according to the requirements of the devices, and all devices have been commissioned by applying field application.

Sterile areas within the biochemistry, tuberculosis study areas and PCR laboratories have been designed with special ventilation systems. Hazardous waste fumes stemming from fume hoods at tuberculosis study and PCR laboratories and biosafety cabinet are discharged to the atmosphere after passing through special filtering systems.
